By the Bay. This is a picure of me and Jessica, my neighbor and part-time life couselor, outside of the resturaunt where we ate breakfast on the way to Pike's Market. I ate my most favorite meal of the trip here. It was a market fresh crab and egg crossaint sandwich with fried potatoes on the side. I can still taste the buttery crab as it melted in my mouth. Yum!!
Annette and Allison. Annette is my friend that I met in college. Doesn't she look great? I am so glad that she could come. She taught me all about colors and what to wear with what skin tone. Annette is such an expert because she is a Mary Kay consultant.
Pike's Market. Pike's Market had hundreds of thousands of the most amazing fresh flowers I have ever seen. Bouquets were only $5 or $10. I tried unsuccessfully to think of a way to get some back home to Idaho before they died. Those who have shopped with me know how I hate to pass up a good deal!
Pristine Produce. The produce at the Market was also amazing. I found myself in the same dillema with the fruit as I was with the flowers.
Fresh Fish Anyone? If you don't like the smell of fish, do not leave the stretch of the Market with the flowers. Personally, I didn't mind it at all. It did make my mouth water a little though. Good thing I was still full from that scrumptous crab and egg sandwich I ate earlier.
Kim and I by the Crapper. (Ok, so you can't really see the Crappr that well in this photo. See the next picure for a better view.) This is Kim and I on the Seattle Underground Tour that we joined after grabbing a quick bite of sushi for lunch. Kim is Annette's neighbor and good friend. She was a blast to get to know!

The Space Needle. The views of the metropolis were staggering. I am pretty sure that Seattle is the biggest city that I have ever stayed in.

Incredibly Lucky. It was 80 and clear the entire time we were in Washington. One advantage of the incredible weather; incredible views.

Our Hotel. This was the door to our room. Our hotel was a quant little boutique hotel with an artistic flare. It was great, except for the huge nudist photography decorating the lobby. "Keep your heads down when you enter everybody."
All Dolled Up. After a brief, but much needed nap (we woke up at 4:30am to catch our flight), we got all dolled up and headed out to grab a bite to eat before the Breaking Dawn Concert. Thanks to my friends for sharing with me after I ordered an appetizer for dinner that was petite to say the least.
Finally! In case you didn't notice the huge perma smile on my face, I am thrilled to finally be at the Breaking Dawn Concert!!!!!!!! We took a moment, along with thousands of other fans, to pose in front of this poster before heading into the concert.
The Concert. The lead singer of Blue October, Justin Furstenfield, was amazing. He sang acoustically, just him, the mic and a guitar. Then, Stepnenie Meyer came out (I still can't hear as well as I used to be able to after all the screaming from the fans). She answered questions and praised her fans.
Then we waited. We waited in the auditorium for about two hours before getting in line to have Stephenie sign our books. While we waited, Jessica got up on stage with a dozen other fans to share their home made t-shirts. Hers said, "My heart belongs to my husband. My neck belongs to Edward." Isn't that great? Stephenie Meyers also made a comment about Jessica's shirt when her book was signed. Me, I just stood there and smiled like a star dazed fan, despite all the lines I had practiced in my head while I was waiting.
"Humor me." After leaving the hotel at 4:30am, getting our rental car and driving (the long way as we later discovered), we arrived at Port Angeles. This is a picture outside the resturant where Edward took Bella to dinner.
Wow. The scenery on the way to Forks, and the whole Olympic Peninsula for that matter, was just breathe taking!
The Forrest. The forrest surrounding Forks was just like I imagined it would be. There was green everywhere and tons of ferns too!
Forks. As is evident by the worn path, we weren't the only fans who suddenly pulled over on the side of the highway for this pristine picture opportunity.
The Bella Burger. Our first stop in Forks was at Sully's to get a Bella Burger, a classic hamburger topped with pinapple. It was yummy!
Fangs. Did I mention the burger came with a set of plastic fangs?
Sexy. I just ate up the whole touristy thing! I'm sure we weren't the first ones to giggle uncontrolable as we tried on our fake teeth.
Magic. Through some undisclosed, but magical method Bella's truck materialized in front of the Fork's visitor's center.
First Beach. Despite some anxiety on my part, Jessica convinced me that we had enough time to take the 15 minute detour away from Forks to visit First Beach. I am so glad we did!
Amazing Islands. No wonder Mike liked to hang out here. The cliff-like islands topped with their own mini forests were absolutely amazing!
Terrific Trip and Fabulous Friends. What more can a girl ask for?
